Preparing for Summer – Hydrangea Jewellery
ByTito and I have been a serious production house lately! I’m not planning to put any of it on Etsy at the moment (though there are a few pieces up there still, and I might plan something small just for Mothers Day!) but I still wanted to share them. Today I decided to showcase our work with hydrangeas. I love how that deep blue colour still comes through, even after my drying and preservation process. As always, if you’re interested in giving it a try yourself, check out my book :) As we set up our craft show schedule I’ll definitely post the details to the blog, if you’re in southern Ontario I’d love to meet you!
Wow, gorgeous! I see what you mean about that blue colour, it’s so deep and rich!

Oh Shireen! I am always amazed at the beauty of your work! I’ve already forwarded this post on – just had to share how stunning the pieces are!
Your work makes me really wish it was warm enough here to do resin work!! I’m really looking forward to taking your instructions from the books and putting them to use this summer! As you know – it’s far too cold here to do anything just yet in that big studio of mine. Sigh…..
But – looking at this I’m already planning on raiding the flowers around the neighbourhood when the time is right! :0)
Fantastic job – both of you!!
