Using Transparencies in Resin
ByOne of the new projects covered in my updated resin book is how to use printed elements in your resin, not only regular xerox prints, but prints on transparent sheets (such as film, or acetate). The advantage of transparent prints is that you can really play with colour, either by adding it to the original print, or by using dyes in the resin (another project that I also cover!).
I’ve even used my own instagram images with resin to create photo-jewellery…
…as well as clipart
…and my own photographs
This particular project is done on a bangle mold, so it also covers how to pour, sand and finish a bangle for a perfect result, as well as where to buy bangle molds and the sellers that I’ve gotten the best results from.
As of today there is only one week left to take advantage of either my upgrade option, for folks who own a book, or my pre-sale option, which gives you the e-book at a discounted price, read on!

Now – if only it would stop snowing here. I don’t think that is good resin pouring weather.

Oh wow, what a wonderful idea- both to use printed things (definitely something I would use a lot of!) and the best suppliers. Suppliers is definitely something every craft book should have! (Although, by the time I get my mitts on them at the library it’s rather out of date!)

Hi there! I am very new at resin art but would truly love to have help. I know that this is not an easy technique and I do appreciate those who have tackles it and perfected it.
There are so many different types and it is so confusing. Epoxy, an Ice Resin, shellac, too many to know WO trying all of them.
I own my unique candle keepsake company and I am now tackling making jewelry w my many flower petals I receive. I truly am a one of a kind designer and want to expand my scope of designs to the resin side.
Thank you!!
