I have a sewing machine :) Last night I made my first thing – headbands. Simple and pain-free and the machine was easy to learn on. Here’s my new toy:

Next up; chair covers for our white IKEA dining chairs. This is why I need chair covers.

Sewing is so much fun too! I love the look of your new cowl and yes cats and furniture, not a good mix. My cat seems to be walking around in a cloud of shedded hair and the carpet has a extra layer of warmth to it. She has a very thick undercoat and even if I brush her everyday she still leaves fur everywhere….wouldn’t be without her though :-)
I just purchased a new sewing machine, but I had one very similar to that one. Is it the Singer Simple? As long as you’re gentle with fleece and thicker things, it is a great little machine!
